wow, i really like the melodie mcdaniel spread. she used to be more famous for her direction of music videos (such as the cranberries "linger") now she is doing rock and fashion photography...really glad to see her work here!

I quite like Rhianna, shame this cover blows so hard. I don't think it's the superfulous amount of text that bothers me, but Rihanna's outfit; they usually at least try to put something high fashion on the cover. That dress looks like something straight outta the Lauren Conrad Collection .

All the Elle covers seems to do nothing for me anymore. Its a shame because I love her. I think they styled her wrong for the shoot. She could still be edgy in high fashion, she proves it herself at every event she goes to.

Same here, I don't like her music, but I like her. Her expression on the cover, however, seems humorously defeated.

^Me neither, but I like that the spring/summer vibe is consistent and fresh with both the editorials so far. Michaela looks great in hers; but I agree with the rest of you all that the cover is HORRIBLE. What a bizarre expression!
