It seems like ages since US Elle last caught my attention with their cover shots. With these, I'm interested.

The cover has only two tag lines relating to 'women in music', Missy and Lorde, which are reversed for the covers. So by that, I would assume only the two covers?

Both covers are perfect, but I think the Missy Elliott one looks stunning. Love the pose and for once excess styling actually works. Lorde also looks great, but I'm not a fan of this new sexualised look of hers. Can't believe I never see her for the fraud which she always was.

Missy looks beautiful, her face is so flawless, i've never noticed before! Lorde's cover on the other hand is a mess. The pose is not the most flattering to say the least, the styling and colours are a bit unfortunate too. I wish they had just used Missy and not done a multi cover... i applaud Elle for using a strong, 45 year old woman who's never looked better but having a 20 year old white girl as the other cover seems like a cop out.
