Thanks to honeycombchild for the heads up!

This angle for her face is not the best one in my opinion, but she looks good. Nice styling too.

I like the styling but the pose looks too stiff and forced and yes, the angle. The layout seens off even though change is good. Looks very subscribers.

Light pink on a gray background? Totes

Photographed by Michael Thompson, styled by Lori Goldstein wearing Giambattista Valli.

I really like this! Love the colours, the styling ... looks really fresh and pretty for spring.

A new dawn!! So glad to see Michael Thompson paired with the redesign for Elle. He'll hopefully shake things up a bit. You can see a world of difference between this and Paola's usual gray drab. I'm not rally interested in what Katy has to say, but I'll still get this.

^ But this is just as gray, and double as drab! At least Paola makes her covers appealing. It looks fake, like its a test drive cover, nothing about this would make me want to purchase this issue!

Everything is wrong here: the styling, colors, her pose and make up. Looks like ELLE and Vogue US are getting worse each month.

FASHION! in a fashion magazine...groundbreaking. :ninja:

that being said, i like the smaller headlines that don't crowd into her...
and i bet the pink on grey looks better in person...

I like the styling & pose and I don´t like Katy Perry at all...

Is this the actual cover? where´s the codebar?
is this a new layout? kinda amateurish though I like the pink against a grey background.

In other respects, I like that combination of shades - but as a colour scheme, it just doesn't work on a magazine cover.

the dress is unfortunate. not really into the " life sized petri dish accented with tumorous hanging nodules" look.

why do they always feel the need to put 50 pounds of make up on her?

the design of the cover lines are not intrusive for once but please leave that desperate, depraved tone to Cosmo!

It does look a bit amateur but I like it a lot - it's clean and unobtrusive, also feminine and very spring. It's a hip and modern layout without using hashtags and that stuff. I assume this is the subscribers cover and the newsstand cover will be a mess, but how refreshing if it's not!
