Oh God, here we go again. Truth be told I actually like the cover. Would've preferred it for January, it has that effortless vibe to it which I love for January.

How is it that she can book two big covers back to back with only this faux crusading? Can't people see beyond the smoke and mirrors? Or does she have an album out as well.

Thanks for posting, girls! ;)

Benn a bit over her gimmick as well, but this is such a beautiful cover, for once it works.

Oh I agree!

I must say, I find it interesting that Carter Smith can shuffle between Hearst and CN. A few months ago he worked on Linda Wells' seasonal beauty story which was spread across all their fashion titles, and now he's shooting Glamour covers.

I was expecting a mess while I was opening the thread, but actually it's nice! However, she feels a bit disconnected to the readers (closed eyes would work better if her face was in the center).

I really love this shot. I'm not sure if it would connect well on newsstand but it's beautiful.

She has a new album coming out. Plus, the whole the Voice thing really took of well. From what I've read online, so many people/girls really look up to her because of her talent and her individuality. I mean yes, this whole no-make revolution is bit too much now. I guess when you live in the culture where the other end is make-up and surgery Kween Kardashians and Jenner plus ongoing feminism trend, people really take this idea as a breath of fresh air and such a revolution act.

Major eye roll.
This whole shtick is supposed to about naturalness, but to me seem so fake.

Over Alicia Keys and feel as though I'm over Glamour at this point. They seem so try-hard lately and this cover just proves it (as if last month wasn't intolerable enough). Allure's currently got Alicia on their cover and now Glamour is jumping on the bandwagon.

I like the cover but yeah, I´m tired of her and her "revolution" :rolleye:

Plus he's kind of the go to photog at Elle. Maybe Condé doesn't care because he is serviceable at best. Can someone recall a memorable shoot by him? I can't.

^I think he´s one of the best at shooting celebrities, his images are always sharp and fresh.
Even one of my favorites Anja Rubik´s editorials is by Carter, I have a soft spot for him :)

Fernanda just trimmed her hair by a few mm and she looks so much cuter! Love all her shots. Also Adwoah Aboah's edit. She's better in these busy type of stories. Overall it's an odd, almost eclecting set of edits. With the cover one being the least interesting.
