US GQ March 2022 : Robert Pattinson by Jack Bridgland

The first cover does it for me.

The second one is a disaster, but I think they were going for that.

The art direction though. The Farneti effect haunts Conde Nast.

What is this, honey? I was shocked, honey. I was in tears, almost.

That first cover with the pretty face and that Edward Cullen hair and a hint of chest hairs... oh my.

The second is very vintage Dazed or i-D, not my cup of tea. But it's a fun throwback.

And I must say... that Virgil headline. May he rest in peace, but a New Golden Age of Creativity? Honey, please. Let us not reach so far.

They're really out here pretending he was Alexander McQueen or something.

No disrespect to Virgil, I think he delivered exactly what he was hired to do at LV and obviously Off-White is tremendously successful, so kudos to him. But we are very far from a golden age of creativity in fashion and Virgil's work wasn't exactly *not* part of the problem.

I like it
I dont expect nothing of this edition

HA. That second cover is an absolute nightmare of an image. The styling is awful.
The first is absolutely fine and they should have left it at that.

I wish they had shot him in a more flattering way with the first cover vibe I love the colours. The font and the second cover on the other hand are giving zombie

This is so not his style. I like the concept, but it’s on the wrong person.

The more I see the more I love this! It's different than your regular GQ, it's a different side of Pattinson and it turned out great! It's daring and I can appreciate that. And he's so damn charming in that video... ugh. Never would've thought he'd have such a grip on me after all these years lol

If you go for that hire Karl Templer and make him do it with style as he was doing it at Interview. This is something to be ashamed of.

It looks like a cover. It acts like a cover. It feels like a cover. And there are two of them. A rare commodity these days.

More than a magazine, this is a silent, still movie. A challenge to an actor who thrives on being challenged. It is interesting, weird, captivating. You are drawn to it. You don't flip past it. You stare at it. You pay attention. This is art.
