It seems the hairstylist is Kristen Stewart's personal hairstylist who does her magazine covers and red carpet looks so I guess the awfulness of his work here makes sense?
I guess they are losing their old readers, so they bring back the white backdrop, to give the impression the old HB is back.
I appreciate that Samira’s Harpers Bazaar is trying to be different from Glenda's era but c'mon, this is the result of having Jane Fonda and Mario Sorrenti? This feels very lacklustre and just unappealing.
This just does not work for me. Her sultry expression comes across as sinister. She looks like a villain.
the editorial is nice but that cover is atrocious mostly due to that dreadful hairstyle! who looks at this and says ‘she looks fantastic, I want this hairstyle too’. seriously, who? we, obviously know who, which makes me ponder: is Samira producing any decent covers? coz from what I can remember, not really.
They saved thousands of dollars on retouching by covering half of her face with that wig. Understandable. These are tough times!
