After seeing @blueorchid digital issue uploads, now I know what you mean about the masthead fading over Anok's head. I have not seen this cover version on the newsstand. I only saw the black and white cover with the artwork by Lorna Simpson. I like Simpson's colorful artwork but not this version. However, I hope that is not how the masthead will appear in print with the trio of models because it looks bad.Well, looking at my library's digital copy, the issue seems to be 102 pages, although the digital page count is 120 pages.
It's only now that I notice that the masthead 'fades' over Anok's head - neither in front nor behind. But aside from the cover story, if you're looking for fashion content, this issue doesn't have much of it, it's more about artists talking about "the now".
The other fashion editorial is DOUBLE DOWN, shot by Alessio Bolzoni, styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, with model Thea Almqvist.
US Bazaar has also decided to revive the "Why Don't You...?' column in their edition, get ready for the most sensible of suggestions in the entirely opposite spirit to the original.
I'm so baffled by this revived feature... did anyone ever look in their archives and read the sh*t Diana Vreeland wrote in the originals? The current article is beyond lame: "Why don't you... wear a brooch?", ""Why don't you... treat your bath as a sacred ritual?", "Why don't you... dress for joy?"US Bazaar has also decided to revive the "Why Don't You...?' column in their edition, get ready for the most sensible of suggestions in the entirely opposite spirit to the original.
