Just flipped through the issue at a local bookstore, a 322-page issue, with lots of celebrity styling pieces along with accessories, many of those celebrities are in their 40s and 50s, then there's the 54-year-old Julianne Moore -- The "Fabulous At Every Age" issue.

Major Contents:

Cover story with Julianne Moore, as I just posted.

The only fashion editorial with models -- "What's Hot Now" with Camilla Christensen and Emma Stern Nielsen by Terry Richardson on the streets of Los Angeles.

Celebrity profiles and photoshoot by Mark Abrahams --
Actress Morgane Polanski
Visual artist/fashion muse Olympia Scarry
Model Carolyn Murphy
Visual artist Shirin Neshat
Retired rock musician Kim Brown

It's so sad how not even top models work for this rag anymore. It's been a long way downhill but I really think they've hit rock bottom. No major photogs, no more Brana or Melanie either. Completely worthless.

That editorial reminds me of Vogue Paris

Correction: Retired musician is Kim GORDON.

Mark Abrahams for Bazaar? Since when? What a welcoming change. His work is the saving grace so far. Olympia Scarry's shots are superb. No comment about Terry's edit, it's way too redundant.

Julianne's cover is awful but the last two shots of her edit are stunning!

Rock Bottom? This magazine is dead & buried!!!! The cover is even more atrocious once you see ti in print, i dont think i have ever seen Julianne look this bad! She looks like any other over Botoxed Hollywood doll.

The content is mind blowingly out of touch, and dated!!

It is not worth the paper its printed on! I really hope they have one of the worst sales ever, and Hearst finally does something, and changes the entire team behind the title!

Jesus!

This is what bothers me.. HB US, is the worst selling in terms of Elle & Vogue, how come they still don't change the management? I mean what are the standards of Hearst? Are they aiming for W numbers before they decide for a revamp?

These are the million dollar questions! How much further does Glenda need to drag this magazine before the higher ups decide to end her? Weirdly enough, I believe they have a greater online presence than Vogue, which is probably what saves this title from extinction. The irony is 80% of their online content is actually freshly generated or consist of online gossip, meaning nothing drives consumers to their print platform. If this magazine was manned by a new ed, that person wouldve been sacked ages ago. God knows what makes Glenda so special, her accomplishments?
