I dream of the day when I come to thefashionspot and read that Glenda has been fired. Honestly no other editor makes me want to pull my hair out like she does. Probably because of what she had done to Liz Tilberis' Bazaar. Just as Liz was the heir to Carmel Snow. Glenda is the heir to Anthoby Mazzola. Two editors who had no business editing Bazaar but manage to long overstay at the helm. It is true everything in fashion is cyclical.

Goodness, seems like a bit of a slap in the face to Linda if she's only on the sub cover. She truly deserves to be on both editions of the magazines. Also, by putting Miley on the cover it's as if HB is being very obvious about just doing this for sales. I do understand that this part of the point of fashion magazines, to make money, but I don't see why they need to do it in such a crass, attention seeking way.

But you do have to take in consideration that most things posted by the tabloids (especially DM) are simply not true, and not take it as a fact. You think Wintour would book/shoot Miley knowing she is on Oct cover of HB already? I dont think so, it cancels her out for this year when it comes to Vogue. So i would say its just a made up tabloid story that reads well for their readers.

I wouldnt be surprised if the Miley cover us am outtake from her sept. shoot. It wouldn't be beneath Glenda to pull such a tacky move. What Jose irritates me about Bailey is her idea that this is somehow keeping the magazine modern or relevant when if someone flips through a current issue of bazaar there's really little to associate it to 2013. Most features they do are about the same designers over and over or nostalgia pieces about past pop icons the Capote Swans.. Audrey Hepburn by Avedon! Instead of profiling current news makers.. Say a Marrisa Meyer or Sheryl Sandberg..

they said the cover seems to be shot from her September editorial. It sounds to me like a last minute decision to put her on the October cover to boost sales
