Styling is bad, photography is alright. I don't find it that terrible as others do, I guess. Also I like Solange and her music way more than Beyonce's, and her face is a bit more raw and sharp, I'd much prefer her instead of Beyonce and her stripper chic on Vogue UK and etc.

The perks of being Beyoncé's sister.

No way, she has carved a niche for herself and is actually considered a more trendsetting fashion girl than her big sister. She recently composed a score for the NYC ballet and has a new album this year I believe. That said, I don't like that cover, not sure if its the red hair or the photography. The whole story just lacks any kind of punch.

although the rest of the shoot is fine, it's no different than solange's personal photos. this is very similar to how she dresses on the regular, too, but i'll take it.

the cover is still predictably samira-flat, though. the hair gives it some life but another wasted opportunity to do something different. it's a pipe dream and it's beating the horse expecting any improvement in this HB era/eic

Someone I know used to be a live-in guardian in abandoned office buildings to save money on rent. They looked and lived quite lavishly however. This editorial is giving me that - at the end of the day, short-term vision and not aspirational at all.

She's so beautiful and I'm pleased to see her getting a Bazaar cover, but as expected it's so incredibly booooooooooooring. The outfit on the cover is overwhelming, it looks terrible. Solange deserved better!

And in the context of comparing magazines (not sisters!), Essence did a better job with Beyoncé this month.

Goodness, what a total non-event of a cover for a March issue. I know Samira Nasr isn't one for exactly enthralling us to no end... but still. Another cover under Nasr's unfortunate reign that is completely devoid of energy, life, soul, charm...

Sort of adore this issue or I went too high on IPA beers tonight... Almost every single photograph pleases my eye, in quite strange ways. Too bad we don't get this magazine anymore here (the perks of living in some provincial city, righta?). Loved that Solange pics right from the start even if I never-ever listened to any of her tunes, Beauise is perfect in that simple story, Jeanne strikes beautifully and Mona, Mona! She might be an antivax icon, I still love her work to some unexpected extents.

is this a turning point and are we witnessing finally the change we’ve been waiting (begging almost…), fashion rags wise? please.
