Nowhere close to the supreme level of the high days of L’UOMO/AnOther Man/Vogue Homme, but it's a decent effort given these lesser days.

Jon Hamm is still a handsome man. But he was done so dirty with this shoot that has his resembling a Muppet, with that glaring lighting emphasizing his lipless mouth and potbelly torso. And heinous styling, to boot. Charlie Gray should have shot this because Eddie’s shoot is nice— and styled by David Bradshaw. Give Jon a 1970s Halston/Yves character, to play off with a pencil-thin moustache, styled in Loewe, Ferragamo and Tom Ford, and he would have been beyond, instead of looking like a dad trying on spring looks at a department store. Frederico Martin's "Masterclass in Monochrome" story is by far the best. Unfortunate it’s also the shortest.

I agree with you regarding the photographs featuring actor Jon Hamm. I do not like this type of effortless fashion photography and Hamm does not look good in any of the photos. The fashion editorial "Masterclass in Monochrome" by Frederico Martins is my favorite because it looks sharp and interesting. It indeed should have been longer.

Jon ages like fine wine but ye, he's done dirty here

^^^ This issue is at once encouraging and frustrating: Encouraging in that a men’s publication finally realizing that the demographic these fashion rags are chasing after will never pay for any content, other than maybe a like/subscribe on their social. Frustrating because they have most, if not all the components in place to produce solid men’s fashion stories, but can’t seem to push it these few extra steps to elevate it beyond a department store’s seasonal catalogue, with the Jon shoot being just horrendously shot that had he shot it himself with a selfie stick, the results would have been guaranteed far superior. And the potential of the Indian story: Sadly the beauty of a region’s striking landscape is never realized-- absolutely wasted with these enclosed shots that may as well had been shot by the local Hindu temple. There's just no vision.

I also do not like the casting in "In Season."
