I'm happy that this year VF were more dedicated to woman. Last year the biggest part of the covers were featuring men, so that's great that they changed.

She looks absolutely stunning, love the photos and i love what she said about winning the Oscar, definietly earned it by now, i hope 2009 is her lucky year.
Its amazing but surprising that Steven Meisel shot her, i always seem to forget he has worked with the mag many times.

I also think she looks great!

I am not excited to see RR though I must say. I can't quite determine how it's different from Mad Men and seriously, nothing can top that show. It's so epic and beautiful. But I digress...

I AM excited to see The Reader! Has anyone else seen the trailer for that? She looks phenomenal in it. Can't wait. She's totally deserving of a cover.

I dont think RR and Mad Men have quite the same story though,i cant wait to see both movies, the trailer's look amazing.And Kate is just a definition of a thespian.

The ed is great. I love it and she is looking gorgeous.
Steven's work for VF during the begginning of the 90's was great, especially with Madonna

Something about this is so awkward. Doesn't remind me of Catherine Deneuve at all...

If anything Kate looks oddly posed in the last picture, uncomfy on the cover and tepid in the two other inside shots. It's like a recipe that has all the right ingredients but taste bland - she's beautiful, naked and artfully shot but it's boring, boring, boring.

And if I see one more article about Twilight this month I am going to hunt Robert Pattison down with a stake and holy water.

Haha, I'm with you on that one. I'll admit, I haven't read the books, but I am intrigued- although I have been intrigued and wanting to read the first book since last summer. I just feel there is a Twilight overload and I am sick of hearing about it.
