...God— Guess campaigns of that era, and up to the 90s with Ellen, were so.. effortlessly elevated. They really were so high-end in their branding that even close to 40 years later, that elevated sheen hasn't dulled. My older sister had them all plastered like wallpaper on her bedroom walls when I was little. In a sense, Guess and Calvin Klein campaigns shaped my sensibilities from that early age. Such a crying shame how low this brand has devolved into— both in their quality of product, as well as the abysmal aesthetic from the brand it was once known as. Their current campaigns look so outdated and devastatingly cheap, like the billboards of any given generic fastfashion outlet brand from the late-2000s.
