US Vanity Fair September 2006 : Kate Moss by Mert & Marcus

some observations i've made from watching the video:
1. kate is breathtaking
2. modeling seems really boring
I think it's just this particular shoot which was a bore. I remember seeing candids of her shooting the Stella ads and the W 'helmet' editorial or the Pirelli calendar and she looked like the was having a blast.

there's also an interesting ed called "celluloid collections" where recent collections are shot as an homage to certain films, the highlights are "cat people" prada with mischa barton, and "qui etes-vous polly magoo?" balenciaga w/jeisa, jacquetta, theodora richards, anouck, and diana dondoe...

kate moss' answers in the best dressed piece

style icon: vivienne westwood
favorite couture piece: alexander mcqueen skull dress
favorite jewelery: 1930s cartier diamond bracelet
perfume: stella mccartney and bluebell by penhaligon
favorite vintage store: relic, london
favorite shows: alexander mcqueen, burberry, chanel, stella mccartney
most stylish man: paul simonon of the clash
most stylish woman: amanda harlech

^could someone please scan the Sofia Coppola features?

so appopriate that they called the article on kate "silet beauty" because she is a beauty who communicates with us through her pics nd we hardly ever hear her talk.nd so was m.dietrech ,who was in silent movies, but communicated hr art with other mediums than voice.2 silent beauties indeed

I don't particularly agree on their best dressed list (except for some). I think the list was definitely geared to an older audience....I mean, I don't exactly worship Oprah as a style icon:blink:

but I am really looking forward to getting the mag!!:woot:

Thank you very much!! I just added them at i_heart_sofia...do they include her Best Dressed picture? :D

Would anyone mind scanning the Mischa Barton photoshoot? I would be very grateful.

Your both right, Marlene along with Garbo was one of the few silent film stars who continued to be successful after the arrival of talkees, while others like Mary Pickford and Lillian Gish weren't so lucky. People really seemed to like their husky European accents which blended perfectly with their on screen personas.
