I think when it comes to Gwyneth we just need to take it that Anna knows something we don't. There's no way she'd put someone on the cover so much simply because she likes them so much, as someone said earlier in the thread. If Gwyneth didn't sell for them/get a positive response from readers, then she wouldn't get as many covers.

As much as Anna is in control of that magazine there is certainly no way the other big players there would let her be on the cover quite so many times surely? She must bring in exactly what they need a celebrity cover to bring in. The dosh.

Can't wait for Age of Consent with McMenamy and the whole Universal Coverage editorial by Meisel. The preview looks amazing! And Christina Kruse making a..comeback? Now that's something to look forward too.

I'm usually not someone who is positive about US Vogue covers, but not this time. I really love it! Gwyneth gets a lot of covers, but I think it's totally deserved. She looks amazing on it.

And I'm so excited for Daria Strokous' US Vogue debut! Can't wait to see her editorial especially since Sasha is in it aswell.

This issue looks really promising. I'm already in love with Meisel editorial. The casting is perfect from A to Z. Still the first shots remind me a bit of the Mulberry Campaign with Irina and Kasia

Oh i agree. Gwyneth is the sort of blond bland celebrity that the real target audience of Vogue US aspires to and identifies with. But it doesn't make it less ridiculous.
