For me this cover is 1000x better than 2014. And 10 years later most of these girls are much more iconic than the 6 2014 fold out cover girls will be.

I do like the new model cover. That said, it can't hold a candle to this one. The 00s were amazing and this cover is just iconic.

Every single one of these girls is iconic with the exception of Hana who nevertheless has carved a decent career for herself. I suspect these new girls will likely pan out like the 07 covers girls. A few good choices like doutzen, caroline, and Sasha and a few where are they now head scratchers.

I've said it before but I honestly think the reason Eugenia didn't make the cut is because they must have originally thought of having a ten girl cover like the 2007 with five girls over two pages. They must have then changed their mind and decided they wanted the 3 + 3 + 3 layout and one girl could no longer fit. Eugenia must of been cut cause she was the easiest to crop out from the opening spread where she was furthest right.

Ward co-starred on the 2004 cover of the all-important September issue of Vogue, the youngest of the magazine’s “Models of the Moment” all-star lineup, which included Gisele, Daria Werbowy, and Liya Kebede.

In her own words: "What a dream! I think one girl was cut from this story as well, which was a bit sad. I was astonished to be included amongst these girls Gisele, Daria, Natalia, and Karen. I remember Karen being really fun on this shoot, and also Karolina Kurkova was dating Pharrell at the time. If I remember correctly, she was making an album or something at the time? So @PatMcGrathReal and @GuidoPalau kept making her sing on set which was really funny as she has a big personality!

A beautiful set, a wonderful shoot, mesmerising to be around those girls and overhearing their conversations!
Haha."
