Gaby Thomas is beautiful, but this weird *** cover, barely shows her face. That shot should have been saved for the editorial.
Angel Reese looks high as f*ck, and her eyes are wonky. Still, her cover is better.

Also, multi covers tell me Anna doesn't trust her subjects to move that paper.

I couldn't care less about a sports cover but I don't mind the first one, I like the color scheme and styling. I like the movement in the second one but I wish she was looking at the camera or that at least we could more of her face...

Clark is the bigger basketball star and the more talented player, but I don't know if she's interested in a Vogue cover or would have pursued this. Reese is a talented player but is also interested in modeling and broadcasting and pursues media more deliberately (she's also been in Harper's Bazaar) and this is her second time working with Vogue. I also think it's just meant as a bit of a statement. Frances Tiafoe is also featured in the story. Thomas is gorgeous and I like her cover photo, just not as a cover.

The Angel Reese cover is the strongest out of the two. It doesn't rock my world but it feels... fierce(?). I like the coloring, the stare (despite the weird-looking eyes), the movement of the hair and how Reese is wearing that Versace. Overall, it's strong and commanding.

Definitely one of the better covers of US Vogue in the past few years.
