Beautiful but boring

I agree with most of the comments written here: she's technically pretty-beautiful, but soulless. There's just nothing behind the eyes, and it gives her entire face a rather "bovine" cast. And as for her being "perfect", the considerable wideness of her face should be considered a flaw, imo.

That said, I still think she's only true "classic beauty" walking the runway right now (rivaled only by Hana). Whether or not that's a good thing is a matter of taste. I tend to prefer beauty that's more on the traditional side, but there also needs to be that extra edge--I'm afraid Valentina doesn't have that.

I have to agree actually.. She's definately gorgeous.. but when you put her next to other women who are also beautiful.. which happens a lot because duh.. she's model ... there's nothing that makes me look at her twice..

I sometimes forget how she looks.. something that I wouldn't do with maybe less clasically beautiful (but still gorgeous) models like Daria or Jessica Stam..

sometimes i think that there's something about valentina that makes her appear arrogant but no one can dispute that she's beautiful and a fair cutie

This is the classic case of high school syndrome. Women resents her because she's so beautiful. I 'm sure the average woman will pick......Maria Carla, Daria, so-called edgy, because they're not threatening........

I don't think its the high school syndrome at all.. at least not for me. For example Julia stegner is drop dead gorgeous.. and I love her because... I don't know.. there's just something I like about her..

If I had to pick.. lets say.. the ten most beautiful models to present to the american public.. I could see myself putting Valentina on the list..

But its just for me.. for what I look for in a fashion model.. I don't know how to say this really.. lets just say when I see her on style.com on a runway picture.. I have to look at the bottom of the screen where it says "valentina zalyeava".. her face just doesn't automatically register to me.. eventhough I've seen numbers of pictures of her.. unlike the first picture of Julia Stegner that I saw in a Calvin Klein show.. I just saw her once and when I'd see her picture pop up in another show I'd go.. "hey its the same girl from the calvin klein show!"..

Hope that makes some sense.

Thats just my opinion though... hope I don't push anyone's buttons.. Valentina is trully gorgeous.. I just felt like clarifying.. not here to bash Valentina at all

^makes perfect sense!! though it doesn't happen to me with Valentina. you are making perfect sense!! that happens to me with some models too!

she has the most PERFECT eyebrows!!! anyone else noticed that!! im am soo jealous. i love the way they arch and all all even!!
