I don't know about this. Definitely doesn't convince me to buy anything. But the direction also lacks any creativities and storytelling that matter to the brand.
Those images are an absolute nightmare. So awful to be excited with his brand new book with Linda but terribly bored with his current offering. There's no chemistry between model and photographer (whole team, I dare to say. The styling doesn't suit her and the creative direction is very poor).
These actually make me a little uncomfortable to look at with the forced expressions. Some of the shots have her looking a little like Nicola Peltz Beckham too.
The clothes used also look pretty atrocious as well. Everything they picked was a sure fire way to highlight her petite yet solid frame. So much hiding of her neck in shots when she doesn't have much of one, which is something I feel like Meisel would have clocked and not try to highlight...
I’ve never expected to see visuals this horrible from a high fashion brand, much less a couture house. It doesn’t flatter her—the poses, the expressions and my lord, the clothes. Who thought these photos were good ideas? They lack polish and they’re not selling me anything but horror!
they wish!
‘Basic Instinct’ is actually full of clothes from luxury designers (there’s a lot of Hermès and the outfit from the scene you’re talking about is one of them). after all the main character is a millionaire.
even though it’s not an intellectual masterpiece, I still love the movie.
I can admit I do not dislike this, unlike the vast majority. Always down for some Steven Meisel (obvi) and I like the warmth and joy these campaign images radiate. I'm no Florence Pugh fan but I'm kinda into her animated expressions here which bring a sense of fun and youthfulness. A thumbs up from me!
