I can never get past that Vogue cover, which was supposed to be epic but in the end she looked like a Cynthia doll.
As for the campaign, I'm indifferent and it's a snoozefest. Instantly forgettable.

Yeah, it looks like an outtake from her last Vogue cover shoot.

Voce Viva is such a strong name and Lady Gaga can be a tour de force when she wants but the result is so... weak.

we have Valentino which is such an iconic brand combined with a powerful artist and instead of a clip of a muse singing her lungs out while running down a magistral Italian ex libris (a palace, a museum, a square you name it) in a gorgeous HC gown, hypnotising us with her voice, we have this ‘Save the World’ wannabe version... and the rest of the random cast almost makes it pathetic.

and I am a Gaga stan. so disappointing. Voce barely Viva...

I guess now is the perfect time to push all things Gaga-related.

In the campaign update, she looks like a cross between Final Fantasy's Lightning and Jocelyn Wildenstein.
Baffles me why they keep shooting her in profile as though she's a great beauty.

This campaign is so dull, and now that Gaga is back to being a bit more extreme in her style choices, this feels kind of dated.


Disagree about the profile, though. I think it’s her best angle! It’s often the case that women who are widely considered not classically beautiful photograph really well in profile. Anjelica Huston, Sofia Coppola, Barbra Streisand, etc.
