Valentino Haute Couture S/S 2015 Paris

I hate their folkloric stuff that they've been stuck on, I wish they'd go back to the floaty floral marie antoinette inspired stuff at least that was pretty looking unless this mess.

I think I write the same things in the thread for each Valentino collection. Everything is stunningly beautiful, exquisitely made and very dreamy. And while I would like to see them shake things up a bit, I'm perfectly happy with what I'm seeing which is timeless and undeniably gorgeous.

I feel the same way :) I think the first looks are maybe too "recherché", there are too many info and it gets a little confused. But it is soooo beautiful <3 I love the European Renaissance vibe.

Ditto

It's gonna get worse before it gets better. That's all I could ever say about this collection.

Same silhouette from last seasons. Though I really like what they've doing lately.

Not really a fan of this collection, there are a few nice pieces but overall it seems quite boring.

I agree with every single word you said.

Some lovely pieces, but they are getting just as lazy als D&G and Elie Saab, everytime the same stuff.

it's not AS good as previous but it's still pretty, the embellished pieces are my favourite, those details

they need to stop with the matronly carpeting fabrics though..who actually wants to wear that?

can anyone help me to find the image of this dress from the back ?

thanx a lot!

I want to like it but i can't!
I remember their first show, it was all about old-school Valentino. Then, they went for the extreme with the "Avatar" collection. I want the energy & the fearless feel of that collection to comeback.

If those dresses were form-fitting and styled with the metallic-gold sandals only, it could have been a real success.

They're as annoying as Dolce & Gabbana. Like them, we know what they are capable of but, they're giving us boredom!

I really like how they started off but then here it goes again, novelty embroidery like they do with almost every collection now. Like ok I get that they are probably collaborating with an artist but I don’t know. It feel very novelty, not in a very good way. However, some dresses are gorgeous and dreamy. But some bustiers look straight out of the old time.

This is my favorite collection of theirs, so many divine pieces, i want to wear them all!

It all looked very exquisitely made, artisanal and all, but does this really 'sell well', they look dated literally, like from 150 years ago.

I love the red velvet dress. Overall I like the collection compared to whats come out so far.

Not 1/20 as good as Valentino Garavani's designs, I like a few though.
