I wasn’t able to see the livestream but based on the images on Vogue, the looks, the styling, it all looked messy and unflattering. Also, the colour blocking gets old

The whole collection would feel much nicer if it wasn't like unicorn p**p smashed together. And also it does look very stiff. Loved the monotone looks.

Can’t he just make the couture like the old Valentino.

I might be in the minority but I quite enjoyed Pierpaolo's vision for Valentino. The Haute Couture shows held at the Hôtel Salomon Rothschild with references to old world Valentino and those exquisite soundtracks with Maria Callas and Alexandre Desplat were truly sublime. I really do hope he returns to a Maison and can take off where he left...
