Valentino Haute Couture S/S 2025 Paris

I love seeing big, huge gowns. But in this collection, everything is pointless. Just bunch of Nomad Tents looking gowns (sorry..).
Even when MGC made a big gowns for Dior F/W 2020 Haute Couture, it looked more cohesive than this one. Also, one of her other hits was when she created a very beautiful haute couture gowns for the F/W 2009 collection, which was one of my favorite collections during her tenure at Valentino
(Oh God, I'm defending Morticia Grace).

I don’t like his approach to haute couture at all. It doesn’t work. Weird oversize bows and shapes and proportion without a real intention. Very ego driven collection without any regard to the client. I guess if you want to remain a Valentino couture client, you will be making tons of alterations and customizations.

I’d rather wear dolce and gabbana alta moda.

There is something diabolical in his work
From day one when I saw his work for Gucci I never liked his work.
Those colors are like ugliest colors from Pantone palette EVER

Looks 05 (in particular), 10, 11, 13, 15, 27, 47, 48 are quite fabulous, if you ask me... We could've followed that direction and it would've been amazing. The rest still gives me headache.
