For retail and a department store, I think it's kind of great tbh so I agree. But most of the heritage houses, I guess you can consider Valentino a heritage house now, are no longer pushing fashion and technique. It's all about the same "codes" of the house every season for marketing purposes.

I don't do resolutions for the new year but I've already decided and started to pull back from buying into heritage houses at this point unless they provide something really interesting. It's become a bunch of croc at this point.
