Valentino Resort 2015

Haven't liked their Resort collections in ages and this is no exception.

I agree with what other people have said. There are too many ideas.Valentino always has too many ideas within one collection.

 Too many ideas? If you call putting another ugly print on the same silhouette they've been doing since they took over the house, then yeah, I guess they have too many ideas….

I hate these designers. Nobody is more overrated than these two.

I can't say I disagree with you about reusing the same silhouette with a different print, but what I meant was there are too many POVs within their collections. For example in this, their colour palettes and themes aren't consistent, they go from Little House on the Prairie to go-go girl to Game of Thrones. I get that it's resort and they're testing out ideas, but they did this last season too.
That being said, I appreciate some designs on an individual level but once I look at the whole I agree with you--completely overrated.

I truly ADORE the way they interpreted México and Frida Kahlo, it's a very smart take on mexican culture and it looks fabulous.

That being said, the collection is way too repetitive with itself and with previous collections. The clothes are very pretty and I'm sure they sell like fresh-off-the-oven bread, but it's repetitive as repetitive can be. If this was a 20-30 looks collections it probably could have been edited better.
