Valentino S/S 2014 : Auguste, Esther, Ine, Maartje, Malaika by Craig McDean

the best ed s/s 2014 so far. Malaika is ^^stellar:woot:

Happy to see Malaika in this! Is this the first time since Naomi that a black model has featured in a Valentino campaign?

Malaika made another history!
I mean when was the last time a black model was featured in Valentino?
I wished there was an Asian model though

I remember when Malaika first came to NY for castings, she came with her mom. She was so stunning and even more stunning now that she's older.

I love this!
it reminds me of Kurkova & Ribeiro´s editorial for Vogue Italia September 2001

I can't describe how amazing this campaign is.I love the way they combined these glorious pieces with the breathtaking scenery.Genius.

Stunning campaign, Malaika looks absolutely gorgeous and I love the dress, cant wait to see it in its entirety.

You know now that you mention it I definitely see it.

the scenery and geometric lines gave me the vibe ^_^

Just saw the third shot with Esther, Maartje and Ine, and Maartje (who usually does nothing for me) looks gorgeous, the girl has an amazing profile. But Esther is a major snoozefest. Ine looks good.

Talk about a weak cast. Glad to see them finally include a girl of color after last season's white washed 10 models, but they picked the most bland childlike girls around and it doesn't resonate with me at all.

Here is an extremely poor quality shot of the shot I was talking about above.

looks way too similar to the other shots i was hoping they would use a variety of angles/pieces :(

That looks like a gorgeous shot! I just looooove these medieval dresses and these girls, though they look very similar in that shot, look from that time too. So dying to see more.

Thanks for posting, teaars
