A little bit underwhelmed by this with such random casting but I'm getting hints of either Steven Meisel or Ethan James Green with the photography, so I'm looking forward to more and seeing how this campaign unfolds.
What remains glistens with the promise of rebirth. Picking up its remnants, Steven Meisel and Pierpaolo Piccioli merge their visions to address fashion’s progress as a portrait. Capturing the new generation, it harnesses the spirit of what today’s youth is all about. Equally unabashed by flaws as relentlessly driven by expression, the ethos of their latest campaign is all about unbridled individuality.
I still have that issue and it's got much more substance than this campaign. Even though Meisel is my favorite photographer ever, he doesn't bring anything to the table. As years go by it feels more blatant. It’s just Meisel redoing his own “The Group” shoot from Vogue Italia 1999. Only minus any actual point of view rendering it completely bland.
