Valentino S/S 2026 Paris

The suits have spoken! Will I be buying anything from it?

Nope. It’s too similar to his Gucci

Yes, it’s toned down from the last season, but it’s still very unpalatable. And what’s with that half-a**ed Chanel Classic Flap dupe? And tiger print in sequins for men?? He got inspired by Demna at Gucci?

It looks like they cut 2/3 of his usual budget. Tired, boring, uninspired, forgettable. Sabato's collections were more thought out and desirable. The shoes and bags were awful. I only liked the transparent polka dot shirt.
PDFSD would probably have a lot to say, because the whole thing feels very messy. This won't end up good for Michele.

I don’t really want to make multiple postings but omg AM and his longgggg essays…

And is it only me but what… “because we are blind…”? I feel like he’s shading the suits with the last few lines in the show (I don’t know what the entire thing is talking about, not interested to because the collection is so repulsive for me wanting to find out anything about it)

I NEED PPP BACK IN THE HOUSE!! I CAN MAKE DO WITH IT EVEN IF IT’S JUST MGC!!

I might be alone but i just really liked it! My favourite collection from him.

The dresses are just terrific! If only he knew how to be less gimmicky…

I love the shoes, the music was ethereal and the setting so strong. However, I despise the model’s pace, the menswear and the lack of edit as usual.

That's what I feel too.. the narration of the fireflies feels like a shade towards execs who's trying to dim his "creativity" and make him appeal to the masses or whatever it is..

Alessandro honey, you naughty one trick pony. i'm not falling for that fireflies story... less customy this time though...

Hmmm the pressure is on!
At least this time, the theatrics were toned down.

This is probably my favorite collection from him at Valentino and surely my favorite collection from him since his first resort show for Gucci.

For the first time in a longtime, he (was forced to) dress a real man or woman and not a character and it’s refreshing.

Minimal styling does it. We concentrate on the clothes!

I think the daywear was a bit weak though with some silhouettes too dated 80’s conservative style but the eveningwear was reallly great. The red dress was fantastic and I love that men’s leather suit.

They can’t fire him before the end of his contract so, if that’s what they have to do to make this work…So be it!

And Giancarlo was there so I guess, no drama and no toilets!
I loved the dramatic finale even though attending the show must have been hell for the lightning. I can imagine coming from the Celine show to then experience this!

Wow.
What a redemption from the public toilet flop show and the first underwhelming debut.
Probably the first ever show from Lallo that I ever fully liked with beautifully tailored and crafted items that you can wear with pride without looking a clown or a stunt in a Renaissance costume fair event.
This is the first time a "conventional" Valentino customer will find something to buy next season. Very chic, very bourgeois and very Valentino with a nod to Pierpaolo with the fluo colours and the feathers appliques.
We still have one BIG problem and that's the Accessories. I can't believe the man who turned Gucci into a profit powerhouse ruled by Marmont bags, belts and Princeton mules has not been able to release a decent bag in 1 full year of tenure. The bag's are coming straight from a 80's inspired nightmare and the shoes are non event.
I think Giammetti will be satisfied enough by this show, Lallo finally respected the Valentino's legacy.
I can't believe I am saying this but that's the first show from Paris that I actually liked and enjoyed...

Wonderful! Its like it got Slimaned in the right amount , gone are the overt antique and flora/fauna references and your left with very sleek glam rock clothes. The tailoring is exquisite , he cuts the best pants ngl. I will give him credit where its due and he finally got it right. This is better than all his Gucci collections combined .

Oh, I loved it and I'm not even a huge fan of Alessandro. The colors were amazing, the fitting of the pieces was great, styling was on point, soundtrack was amazing. In the end, I'm happy he didn't overdo it and delivered a very solid collection - my favourite of his so far.

I hate everything, I just can’t bring myself to like anything this person churns out. I like many shows in Paris this season but this is my least favourite so far, so pretentious and uninspiring.

I like this a lot. Thank goodness for the toned down styling. Everything come together quite neatly. But still waiting for stronger accessories. However, I don't know if this will sell. So far what I have saw are obscenely overpriced for something basic. Even more expensive than PPP.

I was just thinking how nobody gaf about Michele this season with all the debuts. He had to come up with something. He simplified for once. Lol

Not gonna complain about the lack of testosterone of his menswear because it's a waste of time. Nice suits.

The women's had well cut pants, the dresses are beautiful but nothing out of his comfort zone.

The men's dark leather shoes I wanted for me, big V and all. I loved the women's shoes with the strap (??? I'm terrible with shoes).
