Puppets would show more emotion and character than these models. Absolutely dreadful.Better than the spring campaign, but why not get actual mannequins if this is what you're going to do with the models? Or make it with realistic stop motion puppets?
Maybe because at some point of their career, they viewed themselves (rightfully so) as bigger than fashion photographers.can Meisel just retire? Even Irving Penn or Avedon at the end of their career wouldn’t produce such lazy, uninspired works like this.
Thanks to you, I actually became paranoid and had to go back to count the fingers on each model.They all look like AI generated models. It's scary.
His recreating his past work as he did with Thr Group ed. Maybe is a Valentino's series paying some kind of tribute to Meisel's work. Wish the new models were that expressive as the originals though.US Vogue January 1995
