That outfit on Sebastian (the long double-breasted frock coat) is soooo vampire chic, with a dash of Jack the Ripper thrown in. Top hat not included, of course. I'd wear that outfit all night long.

I see Lanvin f/w 08 working really well for the glamorously un-dead....I think it has to do with all of the bows and ribbons, they're more dangerous than they are delicate.

And the whole first half of Alexander McQueen's f/w collection looks almost custom tailored for a vampire. The full skirted looks make me think of Claudia in Interview With a Vampire for some reason....I think it's the doll-like quality they have.

I know, I look at that collection very differently now than I did back in March when it was shown.

But that's the best part about it, something romantic and chic like a bow used as a foil for something dark just below the surface.
