^I strongly disagree. She has that sleek, strong look that fits CK like a glove (better than Lara imo). It's just that the campaigns itself have been lackluster and very same-y.
^ oe, I disagree. Vanessa is not bringing it in these shots. She worked, unlike Lara, with two different photographers and in two different settings. Her images with M&M worked, because they were elegant, classy and beautiful. She nailed that. But after two campaigns that become boring for me, so Sims was a great idea. But in these images she can't lean on elegant and being beautiful. There is no attitude, no sex appeal, not a strong CK woman like Lara or Suvi and even Jac had more attitude. For me in this case it's not the campaign, but the model who doesn't deliver yet. It was the same with Prada. First one were not exiting she didn't stand out, second campaign was fantastic.
But it are only the first images, so who knows.
I adore her Massimo campaign and the Neiman lookbook. Perfect . I would buy any of that clothes, if I had the money.
Wow that video is so good! She's really great in motion. Glad that she's becoming a firm Vogue favorite!
Hopefully she will get another VI cover soon. She was in the cover story for February and we all know that Meisel usually does several projects at a time when he works with particular models. Vanessa + Meisel is definitely the dream team. So fingers crossed!
