ADELAIDE model Vanessa Milde continues to scale new heights in the modelling world - this time in China.
The leggy brunette was in the French capital earlier this month for Paris Fashion Week where she modelled for fashion's powerhouse, Chanel.
She was supposed to fly back home to model at Liza Emanuele's parade last night, but we hear she had a pretty good excuse for missing it.
Design King Karl Lagerfeld was so impressed with our Vanessa in Paris, he has sent her to China for fashion parades believed to be in Shanghai and on the Great Wall of China, for his label Fendi.
A pretty amazing rise to fame for a teenager who only started modelling with Finesse Model Agency last year.
Meanwhile, talent scouts from one of the world's leading modelling agencies, IMG Models, have been in town this week checking out our modelling talent.
Scouts Jeni Rose and David Cunningham, who are based in Paris and New York, respectively, met models from Finesse, Rachel's Model Management and Tanya Powell Model Agency.
The agency represents some of the biggest names in the modelling world, including Gemma Ward, Carolyn Murphy, Heidi Klum and our rising star Vanessa.
Adelaide came onto IMG's radar a few years ago when they hunted Finesse Model Agency's Brigette Mitchell down because they had heard of her "eye" for picking new talent.
"Karl Lagerfeld is the designer for both Chanel and Fendi and he liked her (Vanessa) very much," Jeni said. "She did very well to get high-profile shows (like Chanel) at the beginning."
Among the girls who caught their eye were Finesse's Michelle Hissey, Claire Venema, Emily Wake and Lucy Bayet.
The pair are on the hunt for new talent, visiting most of the major cities around the country.
"There are definitely a few girls we are interested in Adelaide," Jeni said.
