^ I'm glad about Abby being here (who is totally being overlooked for Bright Star this award season). She's got something about her but to yeah to outside OZ she's been in like 3 films.

Thank god Kristen's hair looks good. Carey looks so uncomfortable which isn't surprising. I think she great on screen but not in print. Amanda looks gorgeous. It's funny how her career has skyrocketed from Mean Girls whereas Lindsay Lohan's is going nowhere.

Who's the blonde next to Emma at the end? The video clip cuts off.

^Well she can. Have you seen Speak? Do you instantly dismiss her acting skills because she's in Twilight?

I've seen not only Speak, but Adventureland, What Just Happened, Fierce People, The Cake Eaters, In the Land of Women... The greater part of her films. And she is always the same.

I'm really glad to see Carey on the cover, she looks like a little pixie.

Mia wasikowska, abbie cornish + carey mulligan....3 people i'm really happy to see recognised.. and 2 of them australian, which is cool ! while i think it's fantastic that Abbie is being noticed, to me she's in a different category... a more established actress, in australia at least, with a wider and more serious body of work to show for it than the other girls here.. and she is quite a bit older than the rest too. In any case, no complaints.. it's nice to see her enjoying success.. and i hope people explore some of her older non-Hollywood work too.

Agreed. She has given three outstanding, bravura performances and how old is she? I think there's more to come.

oh ! i just watched the video and saw the girl from Vicky Cristina Barcelona... rebecca hall... such a beautiful girl. hard to say much about her acting as I haven't seen her in anything else and penelope cruz + javier bardem completely stole that movie from anyone else ....but nonetheless i thought she did a good job.. and she looks stunning in that video !

I miss the glamour and gravitas of the Hollywood issues, this is young people sitting about in a field, all very fresh and casual, and of no interest to me.

This is a bland group in my opinion, why not include Anna Kendrick who will be nominated for an Oscar? Or Amber Heard, who is the new leading lady for Johnny Depp. Is Rebecca Hall even in her 20's?

This would've been cool if they mixed in guys and girls like they used to.

yes...rebecca hall is 27....which is actually how old abbie cornish is as well, i think... and now that i think about it, it's nice that this isn't just highlighting the latest teenagers who are the 'It' girls right now. it's nice to see a few interesting women like Abbie and Rebecca who bring with them a bit more life experience and will probably continue to pick interesting roles...

and personally I'm so glad anna kendrick isn't involved here. i don't understand what the hype is about with her....i didn't think her performance in up in the air was very good and i don't think she'd really fit in here.. she is bland, imo. Mia, Abbie, Carey....these girls aren't bland at all, to me at least. i think they each have a lot of character and seem like really grounded, intelligent young women.. a refreshing change for young hollywood.

This is much more in following with the traditional Hollywood covers.
That may sound boring, but personally I think it's a tradition worth sticking to.
The gowns, the colour pallette, the compositions are always beautiful.

Mind you, I still wish Kristin wasn't front and centre. She always looks so bored.

totally agree w/ you. The dresses are amazing especially the DIORs and the J. Mendel. The colours are very pretty almost cupcake-like, very sugary but w/ a dash of spice.

IMO Kristin has had her time to shine but I can understand why she is on the front (it would sell more) but for Amanda S. and Evan Rachel Wood to not be is baffling to me.
