Yes there are plenty of pictures of the Kennedy's in books, etc...but Unseen means just that so I'm sure there will plenty of interest. There is also a Folk Music Behind the Scenes Portfolio (by Annie L.) & Video up on the website.

It is NOT Kennedy Overkill. There has been no Kennedy media deluge since JFK Jr died in '99. And I always hate the music issue-they always have the same people you would expect. VF needs to go back to putting actors on the cover. It is gearing up for Oscar season, so the actors need those covers.

Hmmm, so Miranda is really replacing Gisele. Looking forward to the all the features...

Miranda, as cute as she may be, can NEVER replace Gisele at VS. a tremendous part of Gisele's appeal was that we also got to see her everywhere outside of VS as well. in countless advertisements and at award shows and in Taxi, etc. Miranda would be a far more suitable replacement for Adriana (though, admittedly, Adriana looks pretty freaking fantastic in the latest photos i've seen of her).

can't wait to see the VS spread! i love that KK's the only blonde.

If VF wasn't slightly obsessed with repeatedly featuring the Kennedy family, I would be impressed with this simple but iconic cover.

Whenever VF runs with a Kennedy cover, it sells well for them, so I can't blame them for wanting to use the same trick over and over again. On one hand, it's an education about these cultural figures... on the other hand, enough is enough, when there are so many other current issues that need tackled with VF's incisive commentary.

Though in terms of Kennedy coverage, I have to say that the recent piss-take diary in the voice of Gore Vidal was the funniest thing I have ever read in VF. I'm not surprised they got so many angry letters about it, but I liked that they could also laugh at the original golden couple of the clan, as well as worship them.
