Vanity Fair November 2025 : Charli XCX by Aidan Zamiri

Such a stunning cover, now the question is where to find an issue of Vanity Fair.

The magazines international circulation is worse than Harper’s Bazaar, I only ever see it packaged with British GQ once every couple months.

Fantastic cover. I re-subscribed recently, so this should be the first issue I get.

I love the subtle changes to the cover layout. I think I’m right in saying that we’re going to see a full re-design starting with the Hollywood issue in December. I’m intrigued by how that will go.

shes soooo beautiful and photogenic, truly one of the prettiest pop singers atm 😭
the portrait with the white background is glorious

Its easy to find the US edition in the UK? I have a friend in there, maybe she can bring to me 🥹

The subtle redesign seems to be progressing from one issue to the next, and they appear to be bringing back various elements from Graydon-era VF. We're getting quotes back on the cover, we're seeing the same type of page tabs they once had, it's lots of little things like that.

Would people want it to look like Graydon's VF? Perhaps it's part of an attempt to recapture the magazine's former status, but in order to do that, you'd need to fund it, not just change fonts on a page back to what they were.

I mentioned in the previous issue's thread that there also seem to be thematic changes, it will be interesting to see if this is the third issue in a row that doesn't make Trump himself the centre of any of its content.

Another thing they seem to be doing is interviewing someone, printing direct quotes - and letting them sound like an unpleasant person. I don't know whether this is tone-deaf editing, a deliberate decision to spice things up, or simply an end to pretending that everyone is a perfect, polished version of themselves.

Nothing about her is appealing, and she's not photogenic.
She has no business being on the cover of VF, and even in it's reduced cultural status, I can't see this issue selling to anyone, who doesn't care about her.

Three solid Vanity Fair covers in a row, I love this. Except for when Hedi Slimane photographed Charli for W Magazine, I've never seen her photograph quite so wonderfully. I love the cover shot - the sense of modern glamour, the head tilt, the beauty styling, the colours... EVERYTHING!
