An architectural current courses through Vera Wang’s resort collection, grounding her signature languid, layered silhouette in smoky grays and rich jewel tones. Winding seams and asymmetric cuts have a relaxed, artsy effect on the strong knitwear — filmy cardigans and jersey T-shirts — and silk shorts, while sculptural rosettes and a bustier with a molded peplum provide a structured counterpoint to the long and lean.

Aww I'm dissapointed. Especially when it stated Vera went all "architectural". I prefer when her collections evoke a soft romantic mood.

Agreed, I don't like all this edginess whatsoever!

I miss the soft side of Vera, so elegant.

I don't know I've really been loving Vera Wang lately. She's evolving from just romance to a harder more futuristic romance. There's more substance in these clothes than just sheer-y and flowing dresses. The asymmetrical corset is beautiful.

I can't really feel the resort in this.. but it's very beautiful and romantic anyway!

Im not crazy about the more casual peices in the collection but the dress are amazing. I dont see it as a resort collection but none the less its beautiful

It's nice, as usually with Vera, though I think some pieces look too hard/constructed as for her. I actually prefer her flowy, tulle side than this.

Some pieces are really lovely, of course. Love all the sheer moments.
