So, I see this on the bottom of my nicer dress shoes... What does it mean? Googles just return italian language docs... Please sate my curiousity. :lol: :flower:
 
I see... so this is just a way to a)show it's from italy and b)indicate it's real leather. Thanks. :)
 
Here in germany people often don't understand it too and then in many eBay auctions you can see something like "nice shoe - from vero cuoio" (as manufacturer) LOL

Mostly you will see it on the sole, which indicates that the sole is made of real leather - always a sign of higher quality (IMHO).

BTW, sometimes you will see a sticker that will have several shoe shapes and material next to it - that tells you of what material each part of the shoe is made (upper, inner sole, outer sole)
 
^ I'd say mostly a sign of higher quality... There are some sh*t shoes out there with leather soles!

:lol: that's probably true - i was thinking more in the relation of leather sole vs. non-leather sole.
