it's very VB...
with is a very good thing in my book...
very chic but still slightly off...
with very nice lines...
but the colours make me

...
i hope they do solid coloured versions of some of these silhouettes and in more friendly colours than minty green and bright gold...
because i love the shapes but i don't see how i could possible wear any of it...
except for the blue bit at the end- but those are not my fave pieces...
my faves from her are never pants...
pants i can get anywhere...
but the jackets and tops and skirts and dresses are where she gets me...
shoes too...
i think if the minty green and golden yellow bits were replaced with that blue, it would actually be very lovely...even with the flower print...
i don't like wearing a bouquet across my belly, frankly...
but this isn't so bad...
it's very painterly and warm and elegant...
but you lose me with the mint...
i get the idea of experimenting with colour...
and pulling colours out of the bouquet...
but put some mint green eyeshadow on the girl...
not on the dress, please...

there are better colours in the bouquet to play with on clothing, imho...
esp that BLUE!
*the colour of that blue shirt is astonishingly good...
i hope there are more things offered in that fabrication!
i like seeing her bringing back some of the older classic VB shapes as well...
i have no problem with that at all...
actually-
there was a knitted motorcycle jacket that barneys carried in the late 90's or so that i wish she would re-do...
my friend has it and i would love one of my own...
it's many years old, but is still the coolest thing...
it's why i have never purchased a motorcycle jacket of my own...(except a little cheapy one)
i've never found one i like as much as i like that one...
i see there is a motorcycle jacket in this group-
maybe we can get a black or navy knitted one for next season...???
