Versace Holiday 2020 : Irina, Mika, Evelina, Fien & Adut by Arnaud Lajeunie

Versace designs will never earn the respect from the fashion industry observers

The worst thing about this campaign are the products.
In terms of photography, it’s quite daring for Versace even if it’s reminiscent of the late 90’s campaigns...

But Donatella is the queen of Nostalgia so...

Jesus, what's that styling of the guy next to Irina? He looks like her driver. Actually not even that, a driver would at least tuck his shirt in.

She’s a Russian mobster’s call girl who witnessed a murder. He’s the thug tasked with taking her out. Plot twist: he has secretly been a government agent the whole time, and instead is delivering her to a remote Siberian safe house while she waits to testify. The trip started out frosty; she was too mouthy for his liking and she objected to his brutish attitude, but the sexual tension was *palpable*. They just did the deed on the hood of his car, that’s why his shirt is untucked (a la Rudy Giuliani). It’s like an (even more) B-movie Russian rip-off of the Transporter franchise, but with worse clothes, and he’s no Jason Statham.

This campaign is so bad it truly boggles the mind.

Good God, can someone fire Jacob K! This is just so misplaced, Vanderperre x Prada level of misplaced.

As for the actual campaign, shoestring budget comes to mind.
