The show was disgraceful in so many ways... Mona and Vitto at the end swearing they are some 90's supermodel and the worst was Vitto leaving Mona behind on the runway. Such a non event collection!

Ever since Jennifer Lopez made a surprise runway appearance, Donatella has been trying to repeat the feat ever since with Dua, Paris, etc. But it hasn't worked. With JLO it only worked because it was something unexpected and, in a way, even unpretentious...

The casting was terrible for the simple fact that models don't know how to model anymore.

No charisma. So awkward when they attempted to do a spin when they can barely even walk.

I found the entire thing kind of weird and awkward. There were a few gems among a sea of trash but it was wasted on this show.

Does anyone really want a hat that says Dua Lip x Versace?

I liked the big 60 bouffant hair but again, wasted on this show.

Also, something good happened with Irina, she deliveeeered!

Anok, Precious Lee and Sora looked STUNNING and they showed all these other girls from their generation how to actually MODEL and SELL the clothes they're wearing. Also loved Mona on her first passage (finally some vitality! which was lost on the second outfit) and Vittoria was also great (but why is she looking like the drag queen Violet Chachki?).

Now about clothes: almost all VERY bad with some (very) few exceptions

Natasha Poly was the saving grace of this entire show. I think the collection required a certain maturity that was missing, same as all recent Versace shows really.

Natasha thank you that Hamlin girl tried to be fierce but and forcing a bit on the posing it wasn’t genuine but Miss Poly came right after to teach how to walk that runway ... she is way to good for this mess.
This could be shown in LA but I get that the Vacanza atmosphere , its just like a show put together on a rush

The walks themselves weren't bad, but the timing and cheorography was an absolute mess. Don't these things have rehearsals?

I really liked it, it was a very strong Resort collection with a close to perfect nod to Gianni’s 90’s vibe.

always good to see Poly (where’s the User who had the motto ‘no Poly no fun’? it’s an old one I know)
and I do agree that this deserved a stronger cast. where’s Imaan?? Mariacarla is also a Versace regular… and they could’ve brought back Kasia Struss to strut on that runway.

Vittoria and Mona closed beautifully!

Menswear was indeed a non-event.

According to Vogue this is Pre-Fall 2023. Also makes sense since it’s readily available for people with too much money and too little taste to purchase it.
