Versace Resort 2021 Milan

This looks like Versus.
It’s part « See Now Buy Now » as it would be in stores in August.
Riccardo not going to Versace is still one of the biggest mistake of the 2010’s.

The house seems to be on life support, season after season. Maybe Kane should go back and help Donatella again. I love her but this ain’t worthy of the Versace name.

I have to actually get a pair of the clear frames that she clearly ripped from Balenciaga spring 2007. I have been endlessly looking for some on the resale market for years. Thanks Donatella.

The rest... well it's just stuff, I see a few things I may pick up on clearance at the end of the season. Nothing worth retail.

it's a capsule collection called 'flash', not their actual resort

Both WWD and Vogue filed it under Resort.....
Re the collection, I've been wearing crew neck cardigans since last autumn so it's nice to know I'll still be 'on trend' come next autumn. But in lime green and pastel blue? Way too infantile.

The rest of this collection is classic Philipp Plein meets D&G. Not only loud and obnoxious, but also painfully cheap-looking.

She has to be colorblind. There is no other explanation for these disgusting prints

I mean it IS a resort collection, so I'm not too mad.

I like the she brought the teacup skirts back. And the hip hop influences are always cool.

But in general, Versace has become so FRUMPY. Like the dad trainers and the socks-with-shoes crap. It's so opposite to what Versace is all about.

I still stand by my theory that the Versace design team has been taken over by a monstrous Instagram gay. It’s the only explanation for this aesthetic.

'Monstrous Instagram Gay'.....judging on some people's sentiments in the Model Behaviour thread, I can see them apply that to Jacob K! LOL.
