Versace S/S 2026 Milan

Yeah… it gives industry plant energy. It’s like they wanted to phase out the old, “unclean” Versace clientele.

And honestly, fashion industry people loving means very little - most people in the industry are zealous ideologues, entirely detached from reality.

Most of the industry still seems stuck in the 2010 era - endlessly recycling the same Lady Gaga theatrics culminating in that material brand as if it’s groundbreaking.

The clothes are good, but I am surprised by some of the prices. Nowadays it's delusional to expect any rationality in that matter, but I don't feel like Versace in its current state has enough allure to inspire such spending. The last few years cheapened the brand's image so much.

The change of clientele would be welcome even if I am not even sure who their clientele actually is. I can only think of instagram being filled with videos of magazine sales and everyone and their mother getting those hideous satin platform pumps for cheap.

I imagine they're banking on getting a Hadid or Kardashian in one of the $10,000 bra tops...

launch this collection was a mistake...the should have waited until february....still im not sure Dario is the right fir for this brand...

they are shooting themselves with that pricing strategy. There are some nice and desirable things. Again, that show was a mistake.

They need to know their place and earn their spot again to command those prices again, just my opinion.
Versace Spa pradafied themselves even before the actual takeover with that Miu Miu pricing benchmark.
I am just disappointed cause I wanted several mens leather jackets for myself, but I think I will just buy one.
Or maybe none, if I find better elsewhere (but that won't be Celine, dead to me)

They had to do this Moda Operandi launch just to see how deep the problem really runs.

…Versace lined up next to names like Zimmermann… they need to pull the plug and walk away before it gets more embarrassing.

I think Moda has cache in the luxury retail space because it’s co-owned by Lauren Santo Domingo. I know quite a few women that have bought expensive pieces when they really want something from a collection. I don’t think it hurts the brand image at all, they are also sitting beside bottega and other big brands.

Not a terrible strategy to see what is resonating but it’s a very limited audience.

Didn’t Versace ceo say they were lowering the prices to recalibrate or something and now this?
