i think that madonna truly epitomizes the versace client that's left. the versace client's an obviously rich woman who doesn't care about labels like "nouveau riche" and simply buys things that make her look drop-dead and unapproachably gorgeous. madonna captures that i-don't-care-what-you-think attitude while effusing that decadent money people love about versace. i see this appealing to the wives of athletes and new money women world wide.

the colors are ok but theres something commercial about the whole thing not your typical versace ad

i agree with spike. this may just be their way out like the rich chic amber valetta and georgina grenville ads did 4 them

i don't think donatella would be satisfied if the hair didn't look so fried that it would fall out seconds after the shoot...i really don't.

As model_mom said in another thread (Spring/Summer 2005 Campaigns)...
"It looks like an Office Max ad!"

Please don't tell me THOSE ads are worth 20 million?! I would've expected much more from Mario Testino. Even an ametuer could take those pics.

These new ads are truly awful. I like the old ones, though.

It doesn't even look rich, and that's what Versace is all about: looking obviously filthy rich. The colors are washed out, the makeup is minimal. It doesn't really express the 'more is more' aesthetic the house is known for. And an office? Since when does the Versace woman work for a living?

:D :D :D
but you know, we're all independent women now, so it's not that odd to imagine! women are earning their own living, and don't depend on men anymore or heritage or trust funds, for that matter....at least i know a few....

it may be like a personal study and working could just be emailing everybody you need to suck up to, butt kiss and use... :bounce: so true versace women dont work

offices are what rich husbands give their wives figuring they'd lose less money trying to do something than being bored all day and spending to their heart's content. what she does? charity work.

is this person the same who thought Dr.Scholls heel cream was for shoe heels??
Is this for real?!!
