not yet, but i've met her assistant, cause almost everyday i go in her botique (by now the salesmen loves me >.<) tryn' to met her.
i walk evrytime nex her home. it's really exitin'.
but i think she's more in l.a than milan. i don't give up. from 5 days i'll try again. the woman of the botique says me that sometimes she come in the botique.
so i wait 4 her, or i write a letter that after the girl of the b. will gives to her.
(sorry 4 the mistake but it's the first time that i talk english so fluently!)

Now after seeing the ads in real life, I sort of like them.

EXCEPT for the one with her feet up on the glass desk and headset. There she looks like Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes.

The others are--I don't know--empowering. Still, they'd be better with models.

i saw the madonna ad in us elle and she's wearing distressed jeans with a coral print top with a canvas-y bag on the floor...and i couldn't help but think that this is EXACTLY how women of a certain ilk dress daily. all that's missing is the obligatory chanel jacket and a wedding ring the size of a pacific island.

I totally know what you mean, and the bleached-to-within-an-inch-of-it's-life blonde hair only ads to that... I have neighbors like that so I'm familiar with the type.

I was in favor of the ads, but I loved it even more after that.

the ads arent that bad in actual print...still weird, but not bad...to be honest, i would have loved if they just used the same layout/models as last fall/winter...but then again, i was one of the only to really adore those ads, i thought they were fantastic

I actually think last seasons concept would've worked better with this season collection. The colors against the plain set would've really stood out.

What do ya'll think about Madonna for Versace?

I love Madonna.

He hair is a touch too light, but other than that the whole look of the shots and the feel are very Versace and very nice.

Surprisingly Madonna really turns me on in these pictures...I don't know what it is about them that does though, she doesn't even look that good here.

When I saw the first picture you posted here in vogue a month or so back...I was horrified. I kept flicking back to it. I thought..how could anybody with a brain pick that picture? She looks as if she has just eaten some ear wax. Its so unflattering. However I hadn't seen the other ones and she looks very classy, especially the herald tribune one, its reminiscent of a marilyn monroe type of setup. I think that whoever chose the first one to be published was slightly blind but the rest are really flattering. All I will say is that Madonna has lost a lot of her credibility over the years, she has affiliated herself to a lot of things, she has aged quite considerably and has made some really bad music...I certainly lost a lot of respect for her a few years after ray of light.
