the fact that it's in the Madonna ad probably explains its apparent popularity. when I was in Neimans the other day the SAs were marvelling at how a bag can sit on the shelf for months then it will appear in a magazine in the hand of a celebrity and suddenly they're getting hundreds of calls a day for it. I don't get it. I couldn't care less if there were only one in the whole wide world -- for me personally, scarcity doesn't magically transform an ugly bag into a hot bag.

i have a question, i saw the new madonna ad for versace, and i couldnt help but notice the white and gold tote that was in the ad with madonna. i think its so hot!! i want to know what you all think about the bag, if you think its worth the price to buy, etc. please be honest! thanks so much!!

It's not really my style, but if YOU love it, that's what matters, go for it! I have a guy that lives in Italy who I buy Versace bags from at very reasonable prices (I just bought a large size black biker hobo from him for less than $500.00, shipping included, and they are always new with tags attached, gift box, etc.). If you want, I could contact him and see if he can get this style, and for how much. He has had the snap out of it bags in the past.

That peach colored one is way too small for me because I'm 5'7"" and the SA at the Versace in NY said there was a larger one but it was sold out.
