Viktor And Rolf S/S 05 Paris

LOVE THIS!

that black suit with the bows looks really nice & that pink prom style dress is to die for

I think the everything posted here is freakin' gorgeous!!!!! I love the ribbons. Definitely in my top 3.

Pretty exciting. Viktor & Rolf put Galliano to shame. The clothes are still very commercially oriented, and they'll look amazing without the ribbons and ornaments.

And who is the model in their fragrance? Earlier reports said it would be Isabeli, but I actually think the face looks like Elise's.

 it is
I like the collection - the bows and the added decor give it a bizzare look, which I love on the runway - and without add ons much of it would be very wearable

It looks like they are short of new ideas. Where are all the clothes? And the model in the perfume ad is naked, too:-)

I like it, but it's defintly not up to par after the last 2 seasons.

mysterious. very interesting indeed. im loving the flowers bright ribbons and black ribbon/silk contrast.

This is a two-part presentation. Viktor & Rolf opened with simple, well-cut black and brown separates and ended with soft rainbow colors and chiffon gowns. As for the helmut and the ribbons... Well, their styling has always been an acquired taste, and this is no exception.

Not as strong as their FW04 collection, but a joy to watch nevertheless.

finally i find them very confused , i only like their dark 'section'

as for those comparing them with Galliano, well, V&R are much more 'refined' so their gimmics are much more subtle and artistic,
in this they absolutely 'put Galliano in shame'

i also agree with ngth, they seem a bit 'short' of originality this season, but it can happen to everyone

I love the clothes. You've just got to seperate the overly-theatrical elements of the show (heshen bags and full-face helmets covering entire heads, case in point) to be able to see the wonderful creations.
