Honestly, why are these two still a thing? Their clothes have been so irrelevant since about 2010. The continue to show off the most uninspiring and ugly clothes every season.
Very surprisingly, I like it very much - the concept of "Arts & Crafts".
It seems unpretentious to me. It is wearable, it's unique and it's certainly couture.
Having the Craftsmanship as an actual theme is quite befitting and fresh.
I like it as well. There's something really beautiful about it in an off way. I think that they are starting to find their way a little more each season. It's not perfect, but it's good in my eyes and I think with some editing, it could be wearable.
It's a very interesting collection, they were pretty genius in their execution of the theme. It's not beautiful, but it's eye-catching and unique, and feels like a fresh departure from the rest of couture week.
I think it's a magical collection. Perfect choice of midnight blue for the first pieces, the textures, fabrics used for each look...spot on for me. The silhouettes are fantastic and the transition into brighter, more colourful looks was done very naturally. The collection is very on brand for V&R, but at the same time, it's fun, whimsical and as AnaD said, eye-catching and unique. The last dress reminds me of Elmer the patchwork elephant, but I am definitely not mad about that.

Funny, I find this opinion a bit easy and irrelevant. I would urge you to study the pieces a bit more closely tbh. This collection was actually a masterclass in material handling and artisanal felt techniques. In fact I have never seen these techniques so elevated especially combined with the patchwork. Very nice work.
