Viktoriya Sasonkina

Good to finally see that campaign, it looks promising . It' is indeed by Meisel

On another hand, this Spao set, even if not thrilling at first sight is very interesting when you look twice, her poses are very special, very elaborated and convincing :heart:

^ And that's why I love it so much :wub: The playfull-ness, the colours, the styling (I think the wigs only add to the mood in this) and the whole setting (what a brilliant idea with the roundabout!) is simply perfect. And eventhough it's just Vika's lovely profile we get to see: I'm happy she's in this. And of course, hopefully there'll be more shots to see more of her anyway ^_^

You can see her face in the mirror there too.

TOTALLY totallytotally what I thought! And what does it mean? She's an incredibly talented model! ^_^:wub:

Even though she's sort of in the background in the Mulberry ad, girl is working it out! :cool: I'm not the biggest fan of the ad but Viktoriya might just be the best part of it (and this I say as an equally big fan of both girls).

:clap::clap::clap:

SO happy to see Viktoriya in Mulberry! Meisel loves her so much, another VI cover can't be far off can it? Sometimes I worry that she doesn't have a huge amount of work, but the fact that Meisel is her main photographer means that everything she does is pure quality.

I guess that Vik's bookings are being downsized agressively on only huge bookings by her agency, doing "name & reputation sorting" and so on. Even on the runway Vik books super selectively as we don't see her walking non-major stuff. I guess this is quite the reason for her long-standing and probalby never ending success and I got lately truly in favor with that since some models careers unfortunately don't last longer than 6 months nowadays and agencies try to offer those girls as much jobs as possible to book (even if the quality sometimes suffers this way).

I love the Mulberry ad but would have expected more vivid colors - perhaps because roundabouts inspire me lot of joy lol - maybe it's the scan idk. But it's great to see V. here, let's hope there are other shots to come.

QUEEN VIKTORIYA
A girl from Odessa who wanted to become an architect built a modeling career instead.
It basically talks about how she wanted to be an architect and when a scout approached her, she and her family decided that it would be best to finish education first. Their plans for her architecture career did not pan out as agents from the four cities convinced her to give modeling a go. At the CK Jeans shoot, she met Steven Meisel. He gave her a lot of criticism, but she was told by those around not to worry because that's a good sign. Surely enough, he shot her for a bunch of campaigns. In her free time she likes to do photography herself and plans to go back to school in the future, either for an architect or a fashion designer.

Yes, yes, yes. There is a lot of strategy and a wise management behind Viktoriya's career. I absolutely love how they do take care of her image and don't let it suffer from an unecessary overexposure. Steven Meisel loves her ? That's just great and it's an opportunity to take at hundred percent. Plus the other jobs she did (apart from his work) were also all very selective and high quality.
But I agree, this career pattern wouldn't fit for every single new face. First of all as it takes a Viktoriya and it takes a Meisel to love her.

Thank you for the translation. The article is very interesting.

^They make a perfect 'couple' with Meisel, I hope they will work together a lot.
