Fashion magazine was at least, aesthetically professional in its layout and art direction then, with a semblance that it was produced by professional creatives that gave a fcuk.

It’s a shame with Flare and how it was handled towards its end. But I suppose that can be said of the entire Canadian industry. I’ll bite my tongue and leave it at that.

I always find myself "shocked" at how bad Fashion is nowadays and their allergy to any Canadian content. Lisa Rhinna? Tom Daley? What the hell?? It's dreadful. Our tax dollars are subsidizing this??? At least Elle Canada isn't afraid to use Canadian celebrities

Don't hold your tongue... say more.

@Phuel Looking at this thread again, you got me sad and nostalgic for Flare. We can all agree that these magazines were super lame when compared to other offerings, but I have a soft spot for Flare! I want to know more details about it's demise, you seem to know... SPILL!!! (What horrifies me is that it was merged with Fashion for a sad part of their website called "Fashion with Flare" (I didn't know this until the other day!!!). Sad. Flare and Fashion both had cute offerings. I always used to get Glow mailed to me (randomly??????) from Shopper's Drug Mart.
