I'm so happy she walked Louis Vuitton ! It's major, for me it's the french equivalent of Prada. Hopefully she'll be a regular and will fall in the good graces of Ghesquière !

Bravo Vittoria !

She was also with her mother.
She always gets like a thousand viewers (because she makes it on the "top live" page), no wonder she has so many followers on Instagram.

^but the mom wasn´t on screen, was she? cause it wasn´t the same lady as the D&G show.

I think I saw her at the end of the live stream.

Translation of Vittoria's Interview for Vogue Italia

Vittoria Ceretti is the most photographed italian top model of these years. Here she talks about Karl, snakes, aliens. And about what makes her special.
The woman, who is slowly emerging, is captured in a speech with no accent or inflections, with a lovely nasality that she, with control, places at the end of every sentence. The child who flails around, instead, can be clearly seen in the tight hug that she looks for in her publicist, as soon as we meet her in the Nhew Hotel's hall in Milan, at the opening of the fashion week. Cuddle me, she says. Look at me, help me, I'm super happy, I'm tired, encourage me, flatter me.
Vittoria Ceretti is a 18-year-old girl whose life changed completely: discovered at 14 thanks to the Elite Model Look Italia contest and consacrated by the july 2016 VI issue "Queen of glamour" thanks to the shot of Steven Meisel. Until the choice of American Vogue that, this month, included her in the iconic beauties of our time: Ashley Graham, Gig Hadid, Imaan Hammam. While chatting she tends to lean towards the interlocutor, posture that shows a certain confidence, an unusual ability to fill the atmopshere: It's a confidence that I sometimes pretend, you know?, she admits, with a remotely interrogative awareness.
"Online" final year student at the liceo delle Scienze umane, born in Gardone Val Trompia (the town near to Brescia where Beretta weapons have been produced for 500 years), she's a girl to whom talent and luck already have granted the priviledge to be able to renounce to the melancholy of dreams. She walked for Fendi on water at Trevi's fountain. Prada, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen gave to her green and spaced eyes their advertaising campaigns. Karl Lagerlfeld photographed her and filled her with compliments. I'm impressed, she says, as the polite girl she is, I didn't think I was that interesting.
Hadn't anyone ever said it to you?
Actually yes, quite often. Even when I was younger.
And was everyone wrong, in your opinion?
I don't know, I've always wondered what people could see in me. Maybe it's a mix of things. I'm an extroverted girl who knows how to talk, how to approach in the right way, even funny.
Who taught you how to approach in the right way?
My parents: I've been very well-educated. And the fact that I started working as a model when 14 also helped me: slowly, step by step, I learnt how to deal with older people, to be mature.
Why do you have an alien tattoed on your elbow?
Because he's like me. Because I feel like it, I know I'm different, as if I came from another world. And because I'm sure that UFOs exist.
What do you own, that looks like an alien?
Two cats and a Snake, whose name is R.J. He's the second one that I raise: the first one was albino, with red eyes, and really delicate unfortunately. This one is a really strong corn snake, like the ones who live in the rice fields. He's a quiet animal who climbs because he wishes to go out. He looks at me, I look at him, it relaxes me.
Which projects were interrupted by the incredible adventure that happened to you?
No one, actually: it's not like I was doing interesting things. I used to do sport, which I gave up because of the commitments as a model. And then I used to go to school like everyone else, but I hated it, and I've always had a lot of problems. It's the same for my little brother Guglielmo: we're not people who can stay locked for hours in a room listening to people.
Did you know you were beautiful?
Yes, everyone told me.
Do you think that men, in general, know how to handle females?
Well, with guys with my own age it's hard, they're really incapable. They're kind of confuded, they don't know where they go, what they do, they struggle to connect with women my age. With older boys it's better: confidence seduces me, smart people intrigue me.
If you had to give your life to someone, would you be sure that would be a present?
I'd think yes. I have an interesting life and I'm a strong girl. I've been living in New York for a year and I arrange myself for everything, I get through just fine. In the last 6 months I think I've had maybe 7 days of vacation, Christman excluded. It's hard. But I notice I have important skills.
Which neighborhood have you chosen in New York?
Long Island City, borough of Queens. It's a zone that I love, exactly on the other side of the East River: you cross the bridge and you're in Manhattan in no time. I didn't like life in downtown: the houses are all tiny and old. I remember my model appartment in Financial District: I looked out the window and I couldn't see the sky, I couldn't even know how the weather was like. In Long Island City, instead, everything is new, with parks, restaurants, families. It's my new world.
Do you feel like you got more spoiled?
At work? Never. I respect everyone. When I take a look at other girls I find them so much fickler than me, even if they started working later.
What kind of whims do they have?
They always have something to say: about the hotel which is not ok, about the food that isn't good, about the person they don't want to work with. I tend to be more practical, more focused: you tell me what I have to do, and I do it. No one has ever complained about me because I've never complained about anything.
During the creative progress are you someone who gives her opinion?
If I feel familiar with someone I don't shut up a second, it's all bambambambambam. I only have to work for a few times with someone to get like that. Me and Anna Dello Russo for example, who's very extroverted and easy, are thick as thieves.
And with whom do you feel confident among the photographers?
With Luigi and Iango: we always text each other, I adore them. It doesn't even feel like working with them, we fool and kid ourselves. We're really attached at the hip.
And in front of Karl Lagerfeld, for the Fendi Campaign, were you petrified?
No! Of course, at first impact you feel kind of scared. But in the end we're all all humans, aren't we? And if you know how to connect, you find the passkey even to giants like him. Karl is witty, calm, really smart, which is one of the qualities that I absolutely prefer. He's a simple man, that helps you. The first time I shot with him he kept encouraging me: "You're really good", he kept saying. Or "Vittoria, keep it up, working with you is so easy".
Did you know Riccardo Tisci was going to leave Givenchy?
No, but after his announce we texted each other. I wished him good luck for everything and he told me he's happy and excited for his new projects that are going to start. He told me he's going to write a new chapter of his life. And he asked me to be part of it.
Alexander McQueen shot a campaign that's completely about you: there's a really transparent dress, a sand dune, and Vittoria Ceretti. What did you put of yourself in that instant?
We shot in a beach at the Canaries, at 5 A.M. There was a tense wind, the sand was freezing, the sea was enourmus. I immediately understood which feelings I had to gather in my eyes: I had to feel strong and lost at the same time, and deliver it with intensity. It was easy. Instinctive.
Have you ever found an explanation about why, between a million girls, just you?
I told you: it's mostly about being well mannered.
